The market for medical technology is growing again this year – trend continues to be positive!
However, manufacturers face more and more challenges: the innovation cycles are short, the technology is constantly improving, the areas of application are becoming wider and the approval processes are becoming more complex and, on the whole, more complex. Therefore, they need competent, flexible and agile partners at their side, with which the effectiveness can be significantly increased. Whether it’s product development, the manufacture of individual assemblies, complete devices or even sales and after-sales services, the suppliers to the medical technology industry meet these high requirements.
With around 120,000 trade visitors, COMPAMED in Düsseldorf is the trade fair highlight for the medical supplier industry and product development. The more than 700 exhibitors present themselves at COMPAMED and offer the complete spectrum of products, materials and services in the medical industry.
This is exactly where JÜKE Systemtechnik’s strengths lie as a service provider for the development and production of assemblies, devices and entire systems for medical technology. As in the past, JÜKE presented this year the wide range of their expert knowledge and selected examples to the audience at the open and communication-oriented booth. “Compared to 2017 we have almost doubled the amount of new contacts with potential customers. And that, even though we generated about as many leads as in the previous year.” Managing Director Heinrich Jürgens is happy about the success of his team at the trade fair. “Not only the quantity but also the quality of the requested projects was significantly higher than last year. The new customers looked up solution providers in advance and then approached us specifically with defined project requests.” adds Martin Hovestadt, also Managing Director of JÜKE Systemtechnik.
“Now it is important to prepare and track the trade fair contacts. We know from own experience that it can take months or even years to get an order from a first request.” Dr. Stephan Hüwel, Head of Sales and Marketing at JÜKE, mentioned the long way from the first contact to a sustainable and mutually beneficial business relationship.
